The Ethnic Man in Corporate America

When ethnic people were farming their fields last century; education wasn’t too much of a choice for them. It wasn’t available as it was for the opposite group of people. Later their children became the grand parents of the grand parents in some cases are the immediate parents of the ethnic man today. Living in these times faced with heavy oppression every day. Many of them only had a chance to obtain a very low grade level of education and worked to preserve their family values having to avoid school and work their fields. When focusing on this subject one must understand the effect this had from the generation that came from this taking place. The lessons they could teach themselves where very basic things which the evolution of today’s society didn’t measure up to today’s demand. They could only teach one another to just obtain a good education and to get a good job. From their lack of experience they could not play a role model image of a successful product of having a good education; nor could they speak of what they could learn if their children would go to school because many of them never attended. On the other hand school was not teaching the ethnic groups things they could personally relate too which would spark a young minded individual with the expertise to take back to their family to build from. The learned about European history, laying a foundation of his story (his story). This could be debated that an education is not necessarily a good education. To obtain an education which was available to them, the school in most cases was far away which they walked. Many of these ethnic children began walking by sun rise and return back home with the very few daylight left. Imagine the wear and tear of their shoes and the strength it took to carry their lunch and materials on this journey. Drastically many of their families suffered from health issues which affected their parents to carry out their day to day chores and maintenance which domino affected the income opportunities for their household. Many of the children had to suspend their school activities to support their brothers/sisters and parents with the household. In following this leads us to the family man that lives in America today who struggles to earn his place in the world.

In most case the bread winner of the household would be lynched as they may been stealing to provide from his lacking family.

They lacked the opportunity in many case not excluding the experience which played a broken link which passed on to the youth and mid life adults that live today. You hear this scenario spoken on many times when reflecting on subjects such as this.

Now the offspring product of the ethnic man today finds himself into corporate America where he play’s a fast paced role in a race to educate and self develop him self with modern influences that mirror reflect the past downfalls that arise in the ethnic community today. No man who lives as a man that provides for his family wants to feel helpless as his family has to suffer from oppression and neglect of inhuman circumstances of a racial driven society.

An ethnic man in corporate America can only achieve a level of success through privileged opportunities of his superiorities. He must act, dance, smile, and turn a shy face away from his fellow peers and people of his kind. This could be a strategy or either a low self esteem issue regarding the opportunity of advancement for him. This precise moment is a huge opportunity to study the point of direction and weigh all the facets that condition this scenario to come about and take its place. The image we hold for the world to see is a very entertaining one. By nature the ethnic man is observed heavily on his natural sense of logic even in its most simplistic form. So now that everyone is watching it’s very critical what you do when eyes are on you, and ears are tuned to you. Sad to say because we know someone is watching we attempt to entertain them. Entertain through fear, confidence, laughter, and comfort. I would think personally this is because the ethnic group has had such a long history of abuse from the opposite race. One attempt will be to stir up emotions of fear in the observing individual and for them to observe confidence if approached. As a young man growing up I observed this psychology amongst myself and observed my peers at other moments. If this is handled immaturely it will paint support the stereotype of ethnic people being unprofessional, savages, unintelligent and just poor active people. The image and stereotype of the ethnic man only cripples the growth experience that’s needed to put the ethnic race in a prosperous molding process. With lack of experience the ethnic man bases his life advancement of what he see success in other people accomplished of his kind. Let’s face it majority of wealthy ethnic men are athletes, rappers, and disc jockeys. Very few who are corporate owners, real estate investors/developers, stock brokers, are not known by the masses of their ethnic group like the other category of entertainers.

Companies are allowing individuals with low/mid-level education to find jobs within their organization which many spearhead into careers. It’s sad to say that with the proper experience that can be obtained working within the dwellings of a multi-million dollar operation it should be enough to actually gain a high level of excitement form into action and see ethnic groups launching companies of their own. Sad to say that most of the men don’t try to capitalize on the knowledge or tools obtained or gain network resources to bring about this objective.

Your actions and image affect others in your race indirectly, passively, or directly. So please take notice and govern your self accordingly and keep yourself within bounds of all mankind. Provide a positive atmosphere and perception
